Eventuri BMW E60 M5 / E63 M6 (S85) Black Carbon Inlet Plenum

The Eventuri BMW E60 M5 / E63 M6 (S85) Black Carbon Inlet Plenum replaces the factory plastic plenum assemblies on the 5.0-liter naturally aspirated S85 V10 with a prepreg carbon fiber equivalent. Eventuri developed it with a single purpose: to bring out the induction character of the V10 while leaving the engine's performance as BMW set it.

Rather than reshaping the intake, Eventuri reproduced it. The precise internal volume and individual trumpet lengths tuned by BMW's engineers are carried over unchanged, and the ten carbon trumpets are manufactured to OEM specification. Preserving these dimensions maintains BMW's original intake geometry and is intended to retain the factory power delivery characteristics.

What changes is the material. The carbon construction alters the acoustic character of the plenum, which is the reason the product exists - a more pronounced induction note from the naturally aspirated V10 as revs build, without changing the factory intake geometry.

Each assembly is built from a carbon fiber base and lid, ten carbon trumpets to OEM specification, ten CNC-machined aluminum flanges and CNC-machined breather bosses. The plenum can be used with the factory airboxes or with most aftermarket intake systems.
