The ESVA is a purpose built device that converts digital signals from a GM Continental style ethanol sensor to linear voltages, allowing you to use devices that need 0-5v input.
To use with the P3 Gauge, simply select the "EC" (ethanol content) or "FT" (fuel temp) option for one of the two universal analog inputs.
Not required for Flex-Fuel tuned GM vehicles - The P3 Gauge will read ethanol content directly and automatically over obd2 when activated by your tune.
