These extensions are made using 100% dry carbon fiber, resulting in lightweight pieces with a tight, uniform weave that stands out from standard carbon parts. The SQ style design gives the vehicle a lower, wider stance and adds an aggressive look to the sides of your X3M or X4M. Each piece is finished with a UV-resistant high-gloss clear coat for protection and lasting shine. Every set is test fitted and inspected at our Southern California warehouse before it ships to ensure the best quality possible.
Installation
This part installs easily, attaching beneath the factory rocker panels with the supplied hardware and 3M Tape for extra support. Clean the underside of the factory side skirts thoroughly before mounting, and most installs can be completed in about an hour. For the best fit possible, we recommend having a professional shop install this piece.
Please Note: If your car is ceramic coated, you will need to take extra steps when installing this product by remove some of the ceramic coating where the 3M tape will adhere to. Start by outlining the area with masking tape and hand polish using a rubbing compound. This step my require several applications.
