The AE31 marks the moment Aston Martin went all-in on forced induction, and it did it in spectacular fashion. This is the brand's first production twin-turbocharged V12, and it's not an evolution of the naturally aspirated 5.9L it replaced, it's a ground-up, all-new 5.2-liter design, built around a quad-cam, all-alloy block engineered from day one specifically for boost. It debuted in the DB11 at 600 horsepower and was worked progressively harder across the range from there, culminating in the DBS Superleggera's flagship tune of 715 horsepower and 900 Nm. Turbocharging didn't dilute Aston's V12 heritage, it became the foundation of its entire modern era.

Weistec's ECU calibration works within that same factory turbo hardware, the same turbochargers, the same fueling system, the same OEM knock and thermal protections, recalibrating the software with the same rigor as Aston's own tuning to unlock what that turbocharged architecture was built for all along. And because the factory turbos already have real headroom on tap, the payoff is enormous: roughly 157 horsepower and 218 lb-ft of torque over stock in Weistec's own testing. The AE31 already redefined what an Aston V12 could be. This calibration is where it finally gets to show it.
