A Quieter Second Act
The diffuser is where the air under a GT3 finally has to leave, and how it leaves decides how much of the underbody's work survives to the back of the car. ADRO's V2 rear diffuser spans the full underside, and its vertical fins stabilise the airflow as it exits behind the vehicle — managing the way that air expands so the flow stays attached instead of separating and giving the downforce back.
What Changed From V1
V1 is built with separate fin pieces that bolt on individually. V2 is a single integrated carbon piece, with shorter fins formed into the body rather than fitted to it. Two things follow from that. The construction is simpler, with no fin hardware to work loose. And the shorter fin profile reads much quieter from the side — which is the point for a Touring Package car, where the aim is usually a cleaner look rather than a visible aero statement.
Neither version supersedes the other. V1 remains the choice if you want the deeper fin profile or the ability to replace a single damaged fin; V2 is the subtler, one-piece alternative.
Material
Prepreg carbon fiber. The resin is pre-impregnated into the fiber under controlled conditions, so it is distributed precisely and consistently through the part, which yields a lighter and stiffer component with no resin-rich areas to delaminate under load.
NOTE: Fits the 992.2 GT3 in all trims, including Touring Package cars. ADRO states it must be run with the ADRO rear apron panel (A23A11-1311).
Included in the Kit:
