The Katech Gen III & IV LS Dry Sump Slotted Raw Cast Aluminum Valve Covers feature machined grooves that accept compatible Katech Engraved Logo Valve Cover Inserts, sold separately. Their raw finish provides an uncoated aluminum appearance, while the raised profile adds clearance for many aftermarket valve springs and rocker arms.

Katech designed the cover system to allow removal of the assembly without first removing the ignition coils. This dry sump configuration has no oil fill cap provision.
