This Ultra Lightweight Pulley Upgrade for ZPE Pulley Hub system. Factory 2007-2012/2013-2014 GT500, this 10 Bolt Pulley is designed to be paired with our ZPE GT500 HUB. The Pulley is made from billet 7075-T6 aerospace grade aluminum. Stronger and harder than 6061 T6. This pulley is equipped with GripTec® a micro machining technology. This technology allows the maximum grip force to be applied to the component and belt without damaging your belt. You wont have to worry about belt slip with GripTec®. Featuring ZPE's Exclusive GripTec® V2 level grip, as well as Daro Racing branding laser etched onto the pulley.

Belt slip is a very common issue on supercharged components.  In fact some units cranking out as much as 14-16 psi can take up to 200hp to drive.  Often the drive systems are plagued with slippage issues and builders find themselves moving to noisy cog systems, where belts have shorter life spans, are difficult to find at just any parts store and they can create more heat through the frictional movement of the cogs.

Belt slip isn't always noticeable. Often belt slip is noticed when the system squeals, squeaks or boost falls off. Naturally the belt can slip a very small percentage even on NA vehicles, one major factor contributing to belt wear.  Belt wrap plays a key factor in minimizing belt movement but when it comes to driving a supercharger, it is hard to fully eliminate with just belt to pulley surface contact. Systems running GripTec® supercharger pulleys can see as much as a 1.5 psi gain when matching size for size  against OEM pulleys.

Whether you are running 6 psi or 20+ psi you are slipping if you are not running GripTec®.
